Finance Manager

Your new company
Hays are delighted to partner with this not-for-profit organisation, based in Warwickshire, who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the ongoing development of the financial processes and procedures and financial systems, including reporting such as budgeting and forecasting, monthly accounts and cash flow.
Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Supply of income and expenditure reports and variance analysis
• Attend regular meetings with the Executive Trustee, regarding any financial matters that could affect or influence the organisation
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, metrics and commentary
• Communicate effectively internally and externally, ensuring accurate and efficient communication across the organisation, to both finance and non-finance professionals
• Monitor cash levels considering the charity's reserves
• Overall management of credit and debits
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Operational and Team Management responsibilities

What you'll need to succeed

• Be a Qualified Accountant
• Knowledge of charity SORP desirable
• Experience of being a number 2 in Finance including; strong technical and analysis skills, monitoring and implementing projects, financial reporting and preparation of year-end accounts, strong supervision/managerial and influencing experience
