Our Finance & Resources directorate are responsible for leading and managing the Trust to be an autonomous and high performing organisation, ensuring services are aligned to deliver the Trust’s strategic objectives, business plan and for providing expert advice to the Board.
As a Finance Manager within Birmingham Children’s Trust, you will be responsible for the provision of financial services across the Trust and must be an effective team player and communicator.
You will be responsible for overall team workload planning and management of team members including monitoring and review of output, performance reviews, development and recruitment.
You will be an experienced professional, with excellent communication, business partnering and employee relations skills. You will be able to build effective collaborative working relationships with a wide range of diverse stakeholders.
You must be fully CCAB qualified and have a thorough working knowledge of professional financial working practice and all relevant regulations and legislation.
You should have experience of managing finance teams within a complex, politically sensitive organisation and providing professional advice to colleagues and staff at all levels.
You will lead by example for the Finance team and be a coach and advocate to managers on financial matters across the Trust. You will have excellent organisational skills to manage and see through key projects in this fast-paced environment, and the ability to be resilient under pressure.
