Finance Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing finance business partnering support to various Key Stakeholders (Up to Director level) and Department Heads.
• Oversee and review the monthly management accounts prior to submission.
• Work on investment appraisal models and actively business partner commercial teams.
• Ownership of all things asset related, developing KPIs, and full clarity of £80m of tangible assets, and reporting the new higher risk areas of the business
• Finance lead for new development project appraisals.
• Budgeting and forecasting of CAPEX and development spend for inclusion in the LTP and Budget/ Forecast models
• Leading by example to support the development of a high performing team culture.
• Business partner with development team to ensure there is an up to date position of cost to complete for projects at all times, challenging assumptions and timings.
• Provide development CAPEX cashflow timings to the FC for inclusion in the cashflow forecast

Key Skills and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience of partnering with senior stakeholders
• Ability to deal with significant complexity and ambiguity
• Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills
• Strong communicator and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
