SalaryA dynamic retail business, based in Selby, is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is seeking a role that offers a clear pathway to Finance Director.
A starting salary of between £50,000 and £60,000 is on offer for the successful candidate.
This position would suit a candidate who is looking for who is looking for long-term progression.
The Finance Manager will oversee all accounting functions within the business, working closely with the group's Finance Director.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a small finance team
- Preparation of monthly management reporting
- Managing audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and legislation
- Conduct financial planning and analysis
- Analyse and interpret data to enable strong business decisions
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified candidate with at least 2 years post qualification experience
- Be a strong technical accountant
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Be a commercial and strategic thinker
