You will
Be responsible for supporting the division to win in the beauty market and deliver the budgeted Net Sales target. The Commercial Controller will act as a true business partner to support the Commercial Team through budget management and a strong focus on internal control and return on investment, making sure we allocate investments accurately and correctly. The following are identified as a list of requirements for this role:
• To assist the Commercial Team in maximising profitable sales opportunities and monitoring of the commercial P&L in order to promote and drive optimal decision making within the business
• Provide Financial support and guidance to Commercial Teams
• Identify Commercial risks & opportunities
• Prepare monthly Financial and Management Reporting to Divisional & Corporate Management as well as to Head Office in Paris
• Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes
• Preparation of reports and presentations including customer P&L’s and stock analysis
• Ad hoc projects to drive commercial growth levers, improve ROI and improve controls / reporting
• Manage the commercial balance sheet
• Create financial trends and budgets in line with brand strategy
• Ensure controls are maintained in line with L'Oréal's group standards and support with year-end external audit
• Provide ad hoc analysis on specific topics of focus for brand and division management
You have
• Excellent analytical skills
• Outstanding rigour and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves close liaison with the Sales team
• The candidate should be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
• Experience preferably within a consumer driven and fast past sales environment
• Highly organised with prioritisation skills and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly numerate – strong analytically and good commercial acumen
• Flexibility for an international career is desired but not essential
• Strong presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire
• Financial knowledge and experience in managing a P&L, expansion analysis, sales forecasts
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in an ever changing & demanding environment
