Your new company will be a fantastic, family-run construction company who're working on exciting projects throughout the UK. They're seeking a Finance Manager / Finance Controller to run the financial operations for their Rotherham site and report directly to the off-site Finance Director.
Your new role
The role is responsible for covering all transactional and reporting duties for the local site, ensuring the budgets and cashflow is well managed, and the ledgers are handled professionally, with all the relevant information prepared in time to be passed on to the Finance Director. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is seeking to elevate their role and take charge of a site's/company's financial matters.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you'll be able to tell us about your experience managing financial responsibility for an organisation, including the preparation of management accounts, month-end journals, accruals and prepayments, purchase and sales ledgers and updating financial records on a finance system, ideally SAGE. You'll be comfortable operating autonomously and reporting to off-site leadership. Ideally, you will hold an accounting/finance qualification (AAT, ACCA/CIMA in progress). This role is to be operated 5 days a week on site in Rotherham.
