Management Accountant - Part Qualified

Experienced Management Accountant required for an established South Yorkshire based manufacturing business.

The purpose of the role is to provide provision and analysis of management information to the business including challenging assumptions and performance where data supports this challenge, process improvements and continuous development of finance and related systems to support business areas.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside an established accountancy team you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts in accordance with established procedures and to agreed timescales.
• Monthly review, analysis and commentary of prepared management accounts.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Involvement with accounting systems to ensure continuous improvement.
• Foreign current hedging.
• VAT returns.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
