Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum + Bonus (uncapped)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM (30 mins lunch)

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a family run SME construction consumables company based in Doncaster, for an Internal Account Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic sales professional to join a well-established and growing company that prides itself on a family-oriented culture and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage your own set of multiple customer accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction. Engage in proactive customer interactions, predominantly over the phone, with around 30 meaningful engagements daily.
  • Sales Growth: Drive sales by identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Monitor customer buying patterns to prevent drop-offs and discover new business potential.
  • Client Support: Provide customers with accurate quotations and detailed product information. Maintain regular contact with buyers and key decision-makers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with External Sales team, to ensure the growth and success of jointly managed accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in telephone sales, with a strong track record of closing deals and upselling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and polite phone manner.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of meeting goals and KPIs.
  • Enthusiastic team player with a willingness to go the extra mile for customers.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
