Management Accountant - Qualified/Qbe/Part Qualified

Ambitious Management Accountant required for a specialist engineering company in Sheffield with its origins rooted in the UK steel industry. They have seen significant growth over the last 5 years with further growth planned in future, with a large order book in hand and significant future opportunities.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant is responsible for:

• Producing accurate financial accounts.
• Forecasting and budgeting.
• Developing financial analysis and reporting.
• Monitoring and controlling key WIP/raw material stocks.
• Reporting on the financial performance of the different business units, working with factory management to improve costs etc.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

• Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in manufacturing is essential.
• The ability to work under pressure whilst managing changing priorities is required.
• A strong personality to be able to challenge operations is essential.
• Ability to review and improve processes is required.
