Finance Manager - Part Time/Flexible Hours

Due to relocation, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a successful, profitable business in Huddersfield who have been operating for over 50 years.

Working closely with the Managing Director and the wider team to improve and add value in all business areas. This is a varied and hands-on role from day to day accounting through to providing commercial expertise and advice to ensure the continued success and growth of the business.

• Processing sales and purchase invoices.
• General bookkeeping.
• Contributing to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy.
• Developing and controlling the annual operating budget to meet all financial targets.
• Liaising with 3rd parties including HMRC, banks etc.
• Overseeing the finance system and ensuring that adequate internal controls and checks are in place.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

This search is not limited to any industry. Previous experience within an SME is required:

• The ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision is essential.
• Good IT skills are required.
• The successful candidate will have a "hands-on" flexible approach!
