- Salary - £45,000 – 60,000 (Depending on experience)

Overview of the role:
I have partnered with a leading company that specialises in supplying advanced composite tooling and component prepeg materials for a wide range of applications.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.
You will play a key role in overseeing the finance operations of the company, implementing improvements where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance and Safety: Adhering to Company Quality and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Team Management: Overseeing the finance team and ensuring efficient workflow, training, and development.
- Treasury Management: Handling treasury functions, including authorizing bank payments.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and submitting VAT Reports, monthly sales reports, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Statutory Reporting: Compiling monthly management accounts for review by the Group Finance Director and preparing annual forecasts.
- Budget Monitoring: Monitoring budget vs. actuals in collaboration with the management team.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements and working on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Year-End Processes: Managing year-end reporting, external audits, and Group audit coordination.
- Collaboration: Engaging with external advisors (bank, tax, insurers) and collaborating with other departments.
- Additional Responsibilities: Supporting the Group HR Manager, handling payroll backup, and assisting with utility management.
Requirements:
- Accounting qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, AAT) – essential
- Educated to a degree level - preferred.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

- Proficiency in Numerical Abilities and Data Entry

- Familiarity with UK Payroll Legislation and Processes
- Knowledge of UK Taxation, including Corporation Tax and VAT
