The ROLE
Due to continued expansion of their European Headquarters an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Management Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities will include;
Month End:
Produce monthly financial statements
Conduct month end and year end processes
Prepare schedule and process journals for monthly accruals and prepayments for material value costs
Prepare commentary on monthly financials against budgets
Reporting:
Reconcile Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss accounts
Business KPIs.
Assist the Financial Controller in the production of annual budgets
Labour productivity and cost absorption
Help with annual financial audits
Produce ad hoc reports as required to support the business
Supervise Purchase Ledger:
Supervise the day–to–day operations of the purchase ledger team
Review weekly supplier payments
The CANDIDATE
The successful Management Accountant (allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation) the right candidate will possess;
Good relevant academic background
Ideally working towards CIMA or ACCA qualification
Experience within a similar position
Understanding of UK & international VAT
This role is office based so must live within a commutable distance
Salary: Depending on Experience
