Accountancy Recruit is partnering with a fast-growing solar energy manufacturer in the recruitment of a Finance Manager, to join a diverse and capable management team. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the company's accounting function using MS Dynamics and reporting to the Head of Finance.
The role will offer hybrid working conditions, as both remote and office-based work will be required. The Finance Manager will be responsible for UK and international transactions, monthly reporting / analysis and improving systems. Therefore, a good knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, UK GAAP FRS) will be required.

Duties -
- Responsible for all UK transactions and coordinating with subsidiaries to accurately register inter-company transactions.
- Monthly inter-company transaction reconciliations.
- Closure of month end accounts and preparation of monthly accounts.
- Production of P&L reports and projected costs.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Generating the monthly payroll calculations.
- Calculation and submission of VAT returns to HMRC.
- Submission of Corporation Tax financial information to HMRC and liaison with external Auditors.
- Assisting the Head of Finance in setting budgets and monthly variance analysis.
- Reconciliation of invoices, purchase orders and transactions in the ERP system.
- Assisting with financial auditing.
- Automate and propose improvements to the ERP system.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory compliance.
- Developing internal and external relationships with the Management Team and subsidiary teams, external Advisors, and Auditors.
Person Specification
- Part or Full Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Experience with Dynamics would be an advantage.
- Experience in a global company and consolidations is desirable.
- Up to date with accounting, tax, and related regulations.
- Proactive and able to drive improvements.
- Ability to communicate well across cultures.
Remuneration
Salary; £50-60,000 pa.
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays.
Pension: Auto-enrolment. 3% employee, 5% employer.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week (Flexible).
