SalaryThis exciting role is for a Finance Manager/Business Partner to join a high profile client in Cardiff whilst they hire a permanent member of staff.

This company is a leading organisation in their sector and very high profile. They are based in Cardiff city Centre and are going through an exciting phase currently.
Description
The role will operate on a hybrid basis, 3 days a week in the office and will support the Head of Finance.
Duties will include;
- Support with month end activities to include balance sheet reconciliations, and accurate recording and control of costs.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for inclusion within the group consolidation pack.
- Taking a lead role in the preparation of annual budgets and group forecasts for your area.
- Business Partnering to Executive Board members and managers, providing timely financial information such as regular updates on performance to budget.
- Provide support to departments, including tracking of expenditure within ringfenced budgets and supporting in areas relating to grants and loans.
- Providing ad hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider Finance team as required.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager/Business Partner should have:
- Professional accounting designation (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent
- Experience of Management Accounting and Finance Business Partnering
- Experience in budget setting
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- An attractive salary paying up to £34ph inc of holiday pay (PAYE) or up to £40ph via an umbrella company.
