We're looking for a Finance Officer to become an integral part of our client's Financial Accounting Team. In this key position, you will be responsible for the meticulous handling and timely processing of transactions, as well as the reconciliation of control accounts. Your role will emphasize attention to detail, efficiency in task execution, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee income payments, sales invoicing, credit control, purchase ledger payments, and bank account management.
• Maintain and enhance control processes for accounts inbox and post administration.
• Use electronic invoicing systems for purchase ledger queries and supplier account cleansing.
• Reconcile supplier statements and manage urgent payment processes.
• Respond to internal and external banking and treasury queries.
• Support sales ledger invoicing and credit control processes.
• Assist with internal and external audit queries and anti-fraud measures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly Health and Safety legislation.

Requirements:

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, AAT Level 3 or higher.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in a financial environment, with knowledge of financial accounting systems.
• Skills in communication, planning, time management, and analytical thinking.
