Your new company
At Hays, we are recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients within the York area. They are looking to hire an experienced Finance Officer on a permanent basis. You will be joining a leading company and will become part of a forward-thinking finance team.
Your new role
In your role as a Finance Officer, you will have day-to-day responsibilities. These will include:
Assisting with purchase ledger and expenses.
Dealing with credit control.
Raising and answering queries around client invoices.
Posting purchase ledger invoices and processing staff expenses.
Managing outstanding client invoices on a monthly basis.
What you'll need to succeed
A minimum of 2 years experience working within a finance function.
You'll need to possess an understanding of accounting processes and procedures, with experience working across multiple areas of a finance function.
Experience operating accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
What you'll get in return
A competitive salary of up to 28k.
26 days of holiday per annum plus the statutory bank holidays.
