Finance Officer

We currently have a full-time temporary Finance Officer post on the Provider Payments Team to cover for maternity.

Candidates should have good ICT skills and the proven ability to use their initiative and judgement to resolve problems.  Applicants must be customer focused and effective communicators who are able to provide information and advice to the public and colleagues within the Council. Good literacy and numerical skills, the ability to analyse financial information and to process that data quickly and accurately are essential. 

Candidates will have responsibility for managing and developing staff within a specialised area ensuring compliance with current guidance and legislation, whilst also managing their own workload and being an effective team member.

Posts will be based at County Hall but post holders will be required to work flexibly which may involve working from home as well as in the office.
