The Finance Officer is an office-based role responsible for the management and upkeep of all financial information, bookkeeping, audits, invoicing, and budget preparations.
Liaising with the management team, external financial director, suppliers, customers and operational teams you will lead on the day-to-day management of our financial transactions and procedures to meet legal and industry standard requirements.
THE ROLE:
- Leading on all finance activities, including but not limited to daily transactions, processing of invoices and purchase orders, collating of timesheets and other operational information, recording accounts payable and receivables, reconciling the bank statements and tracking bank deposits and payments.
- Updating internal systems with financial data
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and audits
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Reviewing and implement financial policies
- Undertaking credit control
- Collation of payroll data and liaising with third party payroll provider
- Using a range of software including Xero, Microsoft Office applications and operational platforms
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Professional bookkeeping / finance qualification or substantial experience
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software, specifically Xero and advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data to protect the organisations values
- Attending regular company-based meetings providing an update of work areas

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
