Description
The Finance Officer will report directly to the Finance Manager. Duties of the Finance Officer include:
- Assisting in developing an annual monitoring and audit plan using appropriate methods.
- Preparation of financial statements and reports
- Overseeing budgeting and financial statements and reports
- Overseeing budgeting and financial forecasting activities
- Execution of financial audits and reviews
- Implementation of financial controls and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
- Contribution to the finance department's continuous improvement
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be studying a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Have experience in assurance, controls and/or compliance related roles
- Have experience in evaluating control designs and operating effectiveness under an internal control framework
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be willing to travel globally
Job Offer
The successful candidate can expect a starting salary up to £34,000 + an immediate start + 3 days home working + an opportunity for a permanent role + free parking available + 28 days annual leave + 3 additional days for holiday
