I am excited to be working with an amazing refugee charity in search of a part-time Finance Officer. This is an ongoing, fully remote, part-time role (15hrs per week) As part of the finance and operations team, you’ll play a crucial role in enabling the organisation to work effectively and efficiently.
Due to the quick turnaround of this position, we are looking for someone who can start and be able to get up to speed straight away.
Main duties:
Maintain the Finance inbox
Prepare purchase orders, sales invoices.
Manage received purchase invoices using Xero:
Match purchase orders
Submit approval through ApprovalMax
Administer new payee’s, complete the bank details verification form and enter their details into Xero
Monthly tasks:
Platform income: download data from the platforms and reconcile them with the bank statements, prepare an internal invoice
Estimate the GiftAid amount for each donation platform - mainly SPI Stripe & SPI Go Cardless
Prepare the platform donation internal Invoices and the GiftAid workings (for SPI Stripe & SPI Go Cardless) & Prepare the month-end Journal.
Prepare and submit GiftAid claims.
Post and reconcile Soldo card and credit card transactions.
Prepare the Payroll Journal.
