Location: Wells Street / Hybrid Working This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week. The University of Westminster, located in the heart of Central London, is seeking a Finance and Operations Team Leader to join our team and play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the University. As a Finance Operations and ProjectsTeam Leader, you will be required to provide financial accounting support, implement projects and provide excellent customer services to internal and external customers. Key Duties involve: Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, Maintaining the Fixed asset register for the University, Preparing depreciation budgets and quarterly forecasts, Providing supporting schedules for the year-end Audit and responding to audit queries relating to the balance sheet accounts. Provide support for the submission of external reporting requirements such as to the Higher Education Statistics Agency and the Office for Students. Line management responsibility for three colleagues. To thrive in this role, you should be organised and collaborative and possess strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and discretion is essential. You must be educated to a degree level or have equivalent practical experience and be part qualified by a relevant Accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). You should have demonstrable experience in financial reporting and analysis with year-end audit experience.
