Description
- Lead the overheads forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking & reporting process.
- Provide regular & ad hoc analysis on overhead spends to key stakeholders.
- Drive & provide financial support on all overhead related projects.
- Continually look for and challenge ways of reducing overhead cost.
- Ensure all Supply co accounting & reporting is timely, complete & accurate.
- Review and follow up on relevant monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
- Work with tax and other finance teams to ensure tax and other financial reporting is timely and accurate.
- Work with Shared Service Center and business stakeholders to ensure appropriate process are being followed and KPIs achieved for all SSC work associated with your areas of responsibility.
- Deliver on Internal Audit requirements, finance projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc work on a need basis.
Profile
- Ideally studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong SAP experience (or similar system)
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to build positive working relationships with stakeholders from across the business
- Able to clearly communicate financial information to non-financial people
- Be a confident communicator
- A process driven and continuous improvement mindset
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership and make a difference
- Flexibility to take on different activities as and when the need arises
- Similar role previous experience advantageous (preferably in Retail or FMCG)
