This leading and growing national service provider is recruiting for a Financial Accountant. As well as having a focus on all things financial accounting, the role will also have a strong systems and project feel and so we are looking for someone with an interest in systems and a commitment to process improvements.
Working closely with their Financial Controller, you'll get involved in the following:
Ensuring that the financial position of the company is accurately reportedPreparing statutory accountsExamining and analysing financial informationLiaising with tax advisors and external auditorsResponsibility for fixed assetsReviewing balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining the newly-implemented finance systemAssisting with VAT returns.
Ideally you'll have some of the following:
Some previous financial and statutory accounting experienceAn accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or nearing qualificationGood with systems and ExcelA keen eye for detail and strong communication skillsDeadline-driven with a good approach to problem-solvingKelly Services are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this role.
