CV Screen is recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant who will join a well-established Manufacturing firm with an annual turnover of £12mn. The company was established 30 years ago and have won numerous awards for the innovative approach to business across the UK.
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong analytical background and will understand how to deliver reports with business direction and action and not just numbers. Previous experience as a Management Accountant within a small finance team is useful as the role will initially manage one member of staff and offers an opportunity to progress to the senior finance role in the business very quickly.
The Financial Accountant role will see you initially focussed on preparing monthly management accounts for the MD and senior management team. There will be a requirement to travel to sites throughout the UK on an ad hoc basis to assess stock and the financial accounts of each site. This is an office based role.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant for a mid-sized business (turnover of £10mn to £20mn would be ideal)
- Qualified applicants with ACCA / CIMA or similar are essential
- Proven experience of producing Management Accounts
- Strong analytical skills anf ability to promote business change
- A good knowledge of SAGE
SALARY & BENEFITS:
A negotiable salary circa £50,000
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
