Financial Accountant

Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a North West based Housing Association in order to appoint an interim Financial Accountant who can manage their year end process for the group. This position will last 6 months and offers hybrid working (2 days a week on site). 

Role:
Working closely with the Group Head of Reporting, you will manage the technical accounting for the group.
Duties will include;

• Production the statement of accounts for the group
• Project management of year end timetable and tasks
• Analysis of technical or logistical issues and development of practical solutions
• Liasion with external auditors
• Being a point of expertise in Financial Accounting matters 

Person:
The successful Financial Accountant:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification essential
• Experience in group / consolidated accounting is essential 
• Housing sector experience desirable
