Salary: £23,000-£25,000 per annum
Location: Liverpool city centre, Merseyside (Mon-Fri Working hours of 0900-1730 Mon-Thurs, 0900-1700 Fri)
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Assistant to work with a leading, well known law firm at one of their North West offices in the Liverpool city centre. As a Finance Assistant, you’ll assist both the Finance Manager and Revenue Manager with day-to-day tasks and duties including credit control, purchase ledger and general accounts tasks.
Additional Responsibilities Will Include:
- Assisting with the collection of client debts via telephone, e-mail and/or the sending of letters.
- Informing and resolving any issues or disputes on client accounts that may have prevented payment.
- Building both internal and external relationships: internal stakeholder relationships to assist in the role and external client relationships to assist in the collection of cash.
- Posting invoices to purchase ledger.
- Maintaining client account records to communicate previous actions taken.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 year’s experience in an accounts focused role: this could be in a finance, accounts assistant, sales/purchase ledger or credit control capacity.
- Clear and confident communicator that has experience building both internal and external relationships.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience working within internal SLA’s.
