Financial Analyst

Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a growing multi-site business based in Plymouth to recruit a Financial Analyst on a permanent basis. A great time to join the business following recent acquisitions and uniting this with a desire for better financial and management information across the business.

A strength in data manipulation, financial modelling and visualising data to drive performance will see you successful within this role.

The Financial Analyst position will be paying between £45,000 and £55,000 per annum based on site 4 days per week.

The Financial Analyst Role

This is a great opportunity to support finance and non-finance stakeholders to drive performance and have an input to key commercial decision making. Key responsibilities include:

• Performance/KPI analysis across multiple sites
• Daily, weekly and monthly sales analysis
• Analyse profitability and drive suggestions for improvement areas
• Scenario modelling
• Business partnering with a variety of stakeholders and budget holders

Key Skills and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) desirable but not essential
• Strong analytical skills and keen eye for detail
• Ability to communicate with non-finance stakeholders
• Advanced Excel (Modelling, VBA, SQL)
• Previous experience of large data set manipulation
