Join our clients dynamic Finance team as we introduce a pivotal new role reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager.
This position is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of the finance department, focusing on tasks such as preparing and scrutinizing financial performance, and actively contributing to key commercial decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct real-time analysis of daily, weekly, and monthly store-level performance data to promptly identify concerns, enabling swift remedial actions.


• Evaluate performance data across all income streams and provide recommendations for potential changes to enhance profitability.


• Develop financial models and projections for the impact of proposed new business scenarios.


• Perform sensitivity analysis on existing group profitability, pinpointing areas of opportunity and concern for targeted focus.


• Engage in finance business partnering with key teams across the broader organization.


• Undertake additional tasks as required to support the Finance team.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

This demanding role in a fast-paced environment requires the following attributes from the successful candidate:

• Previous experience in a commercial organization.


• Proven expertise in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and issues, and proposing actionable recommendations.


• Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling (essential).


• Desirable experience with Power BI, Visual Basic, and SQL.


• Possession of a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent).


• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.


• Confidence to challenge existing practices and actively seek improvements.
