To deliver insight and analysis to the mill management team and UK and EMEA finance teams to drive delivery of operational and financial targets.
To provide on-site day-to-day co-ordination of, and adherence, to the mill Internal Control plan and procedures.

What will you be doing?
Cost Analysis:
· Provide timely and accurate cost analysis, sound financial advice and counsel to mill management to assist in minimizing manufacturing costs and meeting mill objectives
· Co-ordinate the identification, evaluation & delivery of the mill cost saving program
· Work with the Central Accounting Team and Mill operations team to investigate results, understand performance and communicate outcomes to the Mill Management Team.
Forecasts
· Lead the preparation of in-month cost outlooks and quarterly forecasts for mill financial performance by working closely with mill personnel
· Work with the operations, R&E, and Central Accounting teams to provide timely and accurate grade cost forecasts for new products or significant specification changes.
Capital Investment Analysis:
· Assist in the preparation and control of the overall Capital Project authorisation and spending budget.
· Provide relevant financial advice and analysis of project requests and post-completion performance reports utilizing the capital investment tool.
· Assist in the preparation of appropriation documents to ensure that such requests identify the business justification as well as the technical proposal.
Internal Control
· Ensure application of established corporate financial controls within the mill finance area of responsibility by the effective implementation and maintenance of financial policies and instructions.
· Develop and perform agreed routine controls relating to the mill Internal Control environment (e.g. ALF changes, payroll, annual inventory count)
· Approve site internal control procedures / changes and co-ordinate update of control logs.
Training for non-finance team members:
· Design and delivery of training programs to improve the financial awareness of the mill team to better understand the financial consequences of operational activities.
· Design and deliver SAP system training to increase the ability of the mill team to extract important data in real-time and improve mill cost control.
What we are looking for?
· P art or newly qualified in a recognized accounting qualification.
· Pr oven relevant experience, preferably within manufacturing / SAP environment, with knowledge and experience of internal control activities.
· Financial and business acumen, analytical thinking / problem solving; proactive drive for results and passion to win, ability to work in teams, clear and concise communication.
