A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Controller to join a growing and well regarded market leader in their field. The business is going from strength to strength, with a wonderful client base and forthcoming projects for future security. Reporting to the Managing Director the roles and responsibilities will include:
- Commercial responsibility such as tendering assistance/due-diligence.
- Monthly Management Accounts - Provide monthly accounts for all trading companies across the Group including P+L, Overheads, Balance Sheet, WIP, Business Unit P+L's
- Provide the monthly finance pack to the Board.
- Financial reporting for Group
- Budgeting & Forecasting - Assist in the preparation of the Group Strategic Business Plan, setting the annual budget, and provide detailed monthly forecasts/analysis against budget.
- Other Reports - Prepare monthly management reports for invoicing, debtors, retentions, stock, costs, cash flows, cash balances.
- Year-end accounts - Prepare year-end accounts including audit pack for Auditors and audit sign-off Statutory Accounts.
- Companies House - Maintain up to date submissions and information to Companies House and update Companies Registers. (Submit Government returns in Ireland)
- HMRC - Manage the Groups Tax affairs including corporation tax, VAT, PAYE, NI, P45, P60, P11d
- Management of a small team who are responsible for Sales and Purchase Ledger
- Salaries/Payroll - Weekly and Monthly
- Overheads - Prepare annual budget for approval by Board and management through the year including Buildings, Training, Expenses, Company Cars & Van fleet, Office equipment, Computer database and systems.
- Insurances - Negotiate annual premiums for all insurance policies and maintain effective cover.
- Banking - Manage all banking transactions.
