Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee all areas of financial accounting of control, including financial accounting, treasury, systems, and finance transactions
- Lead the preparation and submission of management accounts, payroll processing and VAT returns
- Ensuring accurate and current financial ledgers
- Coordinate procurement activities
- Coordinate and manage external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Prepare audit schedules, provide necessary documentation, and address auditor queries
- Provide the management committee and EXCO with financial reporting vital to the decision-making process
- Oversee regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance
- Evaluate accounting and internal control systems and governance
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations
- Fulfil additional ad hoc duties are required to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- qualified with 3-4 years post qualification experience
- Experience in start up/scale up environment is helpful
- Crypto/Digital Asset experience is useful to have
