Financial Controller

* Managing the Groups day to day financial operations.
* Business partnering with Commercial and Operational teams.
* £60-65k depending on experience/qualifications, Hybrid working, Flexitime.
Excellent opportunity for a CIMA/ACCA or ACA Qualified Financial Controller to join a rapidly expanding, pioneering Property/Construction business in Liverpool. . As one of the fastest growing businesses in Merseyside, tripling in size over the last 3 years, our client is on track to be £80m t/o by the end of this year. Joining a friendly and collaborative finance team, your remit will include:
* Ensuring day to day financial operations and transactional entry run effectively
* Cash flow forecasting and cash management
* Ensuring IFRS compliance
* Business partnering with commercial and operational teams to drive business performance
* Production of monthly management accounts (Sage 50)
* Development of best practice controls, processes and procedures
* Production of monthly cost reports, and ensuring ensure all costs are captured and allocated correctly
* Line management for Finance Manager, Management Accountant and Accounts Assistant
* Ensuring CIS and VAT rules are applied in day-to-day processing
* Assisting with monthly VAT, CIS returns and payroll returns
* Management of the revenue recognition process
* Lead contact for the Statutory audit
Applicants will be CIMA, ACCA, ACA Qualified with Property, Construction, Letting (or simitar) sector experience. You will have excellent people skills, with a proven ability of being able to build good relationships with finance and non-finance staff to board level. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business in a broad commercially focussed Financial Controller role offering the opportunity to develop and take on further responsibility.
