Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will lead the annual statutory reporting process, maintaining precision and timeliness. You will develop and manage the annual budget and 5-year plan, providing strategic financial guidance. Oversee all financial controls and governance policies, ensuring they align with regulatory changes and company values. Foster a cohesive and supportive team atmosphere, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous process improvements. Work collaboratively with all departments across the site to identify profit-enhancement opportunities and cost-saving measures. Empower department heads to take ownership of their financial outcomes. Continuously seek to streamline and optimise the Finance Department's operations. Step in for the CFO on matters pertaining to Kronospan UK when required. Prepare and scrutinise financial presentations to underpin company investment strategies.

Hours of Work: Full-time

Financial Controller Requirements:

* A relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
* A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement.
* Experience in leading and motivating a team.
