Financial Controller (Dutch Speaking)

I am currently supporting an international, PE backed software company who are looking for a well-rounded Financial Controller to join their dynamic team, this role is fully remote with some travel requirements to the Midlands.

The Financial Controller will be looking after the Netherlands and German entities within the business whilst reporting into a Global Finance Director who is keen to work with and progress the right person. You will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day finance function, play a key part in driving the business from a commercial perspective and implement new processes to assist with future expansion.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare management, annual and departmental accounts with added commentary to the GFD.
• Fluent in speaking either Dutch or German.
• Be confident in managing stakeholders who aren’t from a finance background.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies.
• Improve the financial reporting process and identify key drivers for business decisions.

Key requirements:

• Post-qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a minimum of 3 years ideally within a software business, QBE options will be considered.
• All-round experience as an Accountant with exposure to both management and financial accounts.
• Commercial acumen and business partnering skills or the desire to gain that kind of exposure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
