Our client, a distinguished professional services business with an enviable and high-profile client base, is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their team. Reporting to the Directors and Partners, you will head up and lead the finance function and team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the finance function of the firm including leading a small team
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Implementation of improved financial reporting systems and controls
- Preparation of forecasts
- Oversee all transactional accounting operations
- Ad hoc reports and analysis for internal projects.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant, ACCA, ACA / ICAEW or equivalent
- Proven experience in managing or supervising accounts teams as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager / Director, Head of Finance or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- IT proficiency in financial software systems such as Xero, Iris etc plus strong MS Excel skills
- Proactive mindset with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
