SalaryWe are excited to be working exclusively with a great client who is looking to recruit their first Financial Controller who will be the number one finance professional on site (whilst also overseeing finance professionals based at other sites).
The main aspects of the role are to:
* provide effective financial management of the day to day operations;
* manage finance staff based at other sites;
* provide strategic input to aid decision making;
* deliver the annual budget and 3 and 5 year forecasts;
* ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and minimize risk to the organization;
The chosen candidate will manage through a dedicated team, all things financial across the organization including all transactional processes, whilst also liaising where necessary with external advisors, bankers and suppliers.
You will be a proven finance professional used to meeting monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines, who has already worked in a senior finance role and who can demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills coupled with a "rolled up sleeves" approach to day to day tasks.
You will be able to demonstrate a solid track record of adopting best in class processes and procedures and be able to work well under pressure.
Whilst a recognized accounting qualification is desirable, candidates who are qualified by experience will equally be considered.
