Financial Controller Boutique Investment Manager

This London based Financial Controller role is with an established financial services firm.

Description

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

• Taking full ownership for financial matters of a regulated trust
• Preparation of the monthly management reporting;
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts for a SPVs and the annual statutory accounts for the regulated entity including audit packs. It is envisaged that the individual will build up the necessary relationship with the auditors and be the first point of contact in relation to these entities;
• Preparation of financial reports and other ad-hoc financial information for the board of directors and other senior management;
• Bookkeeping for all SPVs and regulated entity;
• Set up payments and provide support to purchase ledger member;
• Prepare bank reconciliations and analysis;
• Support the build out project for the accounting software set up.
• Ad-hoc project work.

Profile

The successful candidate will have the following background:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant
• Four plus years of post-qualified experience, gained ideally working for a buy-side firm
• Exposure to asset management / funds services business / Trust Company Business / Family Office Structure
