JMF Associates are currently recruiting for a well-established construction company based in Central London who are now looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic high achieving team. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for managing and developing a small team, liaising with other teams in order to deliver on financial targets set.
Duties will include:-
- Month end close overseeing journals, processing monthly contracts allocating costs to the correct projects
- Payroll, pension, and overhead reporting
- Contract budgeting and forecasting and analysing variances
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Assisting with the audit process
- Compliance with VAT, CIS and PAYE
- Responsible for overseeing the day to day functions across Finance team
- Streamline processes and procedures working closely with the FD and MD
- Produce monthly WIP, cashflow and P&L report
Skills:-
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or QBE
- Previous experience and knowledge with CIS and working in the construction industry would be preferred
- Excellent communication, problem solving and attention to detail
- Analytical, numerical with he ability to deliver to tight deadlines
- Highly driven with strong management and leadership skills
