VisionFR has received a lovely role for a Financial Controller and Operations based in Hampshire, reporting to the MD. The FC&OpsMan will look after the financials and guide the financial strategy and operations. This role will be supported by a part time Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities of the Financial Controller & Operations Manager
- Oversee financial, compliance and strategic panning
- Lead the budgeting process
- Monitor expenses
- Manage cash flow forecasting
- Prepare regular reports for the Board including recommendations
- Manage/Oversee the IT function
- Collaborate with functional Heads to align finances with goals and expectations
- Resource allocation
- Help develop a freelance network
- Identify opportunities for pricing decisions and strategies to enhance profit margins
- Develop risk management strategies
Key skills of the Financial Controller & Operations Manager
- Qualified Accountant
- 7 years experience in a creative agency
- Understanding of Financial regulations
- Experienced finance modeller
- Proven track record of implementing processes
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Xero
