Financial Controller - Part Qualified

Lusona Consultancy has an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Part Qualified or qualified by experience accountant to join our service sector client in a Financial Controller role based in Lanarkshire. Perfect for a driven, enthusiastic management accountant who is seeking the next step in their career, to grow within a global multi-entity organisation.
Supporting an established finance team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with year-end audit process
- Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes
- Providing analysis and inputs to reports for management teams where necessary.
- Liaising other financial stakeholders and non-financial stakeholders regarding specific projects.
- Providing support for any ad-hoc data requests
Applicants will be Part Qualified accountants (CA/ACCA/CIMA), or classified has qualified experience. Applicants will have a high attention to detail, with an inquisitive mindset to grow and develop their finance career. You will have excellent communication skills written and verbal to partner with financial and non-financial stakeholders business stakeholders. Similarly, you will have strong excel and IT skills.
Our client offers hybrid working between home and the office in Lanarkshire. There is also regular travel expected on a monthly basis to other entities across Europe to support the wider business.
