Our client is a leading Professional Services company looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for their London based finance team. This role will be key in supporting the future growth of the business
This key role will be responsible for:
- Day to day management of financial control team
- Ensuring Management Accounts are prepared in line with Group accounting policy
- Ensuring all tax and other local filing requirements are met globally
- Supporting integration of acquired entities
- Driving improved reporting and implementing efficient processes where required
- Managing multicurrency process
- Managing Group treasury strategies
- Managing key external relationships including banks and third-party advisers
- Working with Group Accounting and external Auditors to ensure the Audit process is smooth and delivered to plan
- Working with Group Accounting team and senior management to ensure high quality Group consolidated reports are produced
The candidate
- Qualified Accountant
- Previous experience of working as an FC ideally internationally
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge including IFRS
- Proven management skills, previous experience of managing teams of c. 10
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload
- Ability to work effectively and manage sometimes tight deadlines
