SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Catalent Swindon, this is a Fixed Term Contract role of 1 year to cover maternity leave. You will be responsible for all routine financial activities, month end, treasury, revenue, tax, compliance, etc, as well as the statutory audit and the financial statement process.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Swindon facility which houses our Zydis® fast dissolving tablet development and manufacturing. The Zydis® ODT (orally dissolving tablet) fast-dissolve formulation, is a unique, freeze-dried oral solid dosage form that disperses almost instantly in the mouth – no water required. With more than 20 products launched in 60 countries, it continues to be the world’s best-in-class ODT technology. The site is 253,314 ft2 with approximately 700 employees.
This is an onsite role, managing a capable team, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
You will manage the tight month-end reporting process, including monthly and quarterly reporting packages, ensuring actuals and forecasts are delivered accurately and on-time, and ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations and tasks are uploaded and reviewed on the OneStream platform
Control cash flow forecasting and working capital management
You will review VAT returns and providing support with duty reporting •
To review all supplier master changes, including the onboarding of new supplier relationships
Provide day-to-day support in invoice approvals, supplier issue resolution and act as primary liaison point with the AP Shared Service Centre
Review all month end balance sheet accounts associated with AP, including GRNV and intercompany
You will review all revenue accounts, ensuring appropriate revenue calculated and reconciled and deferred and accrued income balances are appropriately stated.
Provide support and guidance in corporate taxation, UKGAAP and USGAAP external reporting, including supporting the delivery of the financial statements.
Support the delivery of critical RDEC, Patent Box and Super Deduction projects.
Provide support in Sox compliance activities, including ensuring appropriate controls are maintained throughout the business.
The Person
ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
Extensive experience in finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrable statutory reporting experience
People management experience
Reporting under US GAAP an advantage or other overseas parent
Knowledge of JD Edwards and/or Onestream an advantage
Advanced Excel incl. the ability to create robust financial models
Demonstration of strong communication skills at all levels. The role will require regular contact with Finance personnel internal and external to the site as well as non-Finance personnel
Proficient at problem solving.
