SalaryMidas Recruitment is delighted to work with this established, profitable, growing manufacturing and distribution company that seeks to hire a high-calibre Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to, and offering strategic support to the Finance Director, the responsibilities will include;
- leadership of a finance team of 6;
- producing and providing analysis/commentary of monthly management accounts;
- cashflow management and forecasting;
- financial planning, strategic decision-making support, budgeting; and
- supporting growth and encouraging financially sound decisions by non-financial colleagues.
Experience:
- The company seeks a qualified accountant for this high-profile role.
- You'll be skilled at operating at the Financial Controller/Manager level.
- Be able to offer prior experience in leading/mentoring a finance team,
- Manufacturing/industrial sector background
- You will relish operating within a company-wide role, interacting with and influencing the various departmental managers, and making a difference.
Working hours and Benefits package:
- This role is a permanent position, office-based in an excellent modern facility
- Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30 to 5pm.
- The starting base salary is c £65,000.
- Benefits include annual bonus, pension, medical and life-cover.
