Financial Controller

The role of Financial Controller will report into the CFO and will be responsible for managing a team of 5. 
It's an excellent time to join the company, with significant growth expected over the next 2-3 years the business will give plenty of opportunities to develop and grow. 
The ideal candidate for the Financial Controller position will be someone who is qualified (ACA,CIMA, ACCA), have strong people management experience and have worked in a fast paced environment. 
Responsibilities will include: 

• The timely and accurate preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management accounts. 
• Lead the month-end close process, ensuring appropriate plans are in place to meet reporting deadlines and coordinate with various stakeholders.
• Plan and execute accurate and timely preparation of the annual financial statements for the business including managing the external audit processes and engagement with external auditors. 
• Lead the forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning process around income, costs, balance sheet and cash flow accounting.
• Lead on tax matters including VAT compliance and filing.
• Manage the Finance team to meet all reporting requirements.
