Reed Banking are delighted to be supporting a foreign banking group in their recruitment for a Financial Crime Manager to work as part of a small compliance function and play a key role in supporting the Head of Compliance.
This role is currently available on a 6-month fixed-term basis and as such, candidates should be immediately available to start in the role (There is a possibility of extension beyond 6 months subject to business requirements and performance in the role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Financial Crime function of the bank.
- Assist with investigations, evaluations, and submissions of Suspicious Activity Reports.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reviewing the annual Financial Crime Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Staff training, coaching, and development.
- Conduct Financial Crime reviews as directed and report findings to senior management.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of Financial Crime policies and procedures.
Successful candidates will have:
• Knowledge of the PRA/FCA’s Approved Persons principles.
• Previous demonstrated Financial Crime experience held at a managerial level (ideally from a smaller banking background).
• Risk Assessment, Business analysis, Planning, Communication, Report writing skills.
