Job Description:
The main purpose of the Financial Planning Administrator is to provide administrative support to a team of Financial Advisors/Paraplanners, to enable them to deliver a first - class service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide full administrative support to a number of Financial Planners such as preparing meeting packs for Advisers and supporting them with diary management.
- Process, and follow through to completion, the setting up of new investments and policies for clients, which include pension and SIPP contracts, Investments and Protection policies for personal and business clients.
- Process online fund switches and manage through to completion.
- Maintain the back-office system; adding new clients and maintaining the portfolio content, including contributions and withdrawals plus other ad hoc details as required. Ensure all documentation and all emails are saved to client records.
- Utilise the client management system to accurately process new and existing business, including monthly valuations and diary management.
- Provide, review and valuation documentation in relation to client reviews and deal with any changes to the portfolio and/or client circumstances.
- Be the point of contact for company, client and third-party queries when dealing with new and existing business. Keep all notes on the back-office system up to date, enabling advisers and other team members to appraise themselves of the current situation as required.
- Liaise with external parties regarding any queries (product providers etc.)
- Adhere to Consumer Duty.
Requirements of Financial Planning Administrator:
- Experience providing Financial Planning administrative support is essential.
- Must feel comfortable working with numbers.
- You will have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work as part of a team, as well as using your own initiative.
- You will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
