An international business headquartered near Camberley, is offering a new opportunity providing support to the Financial Planning & Analysis department. The role will assist in meeting the requirements of senior management by reporting on and analysing financial and business information from the Finance and Sales functions.
The role sits within the Units/Margins team, and the primary focus will be on discount accrual maintenance. It will involve credit note validation, reviewing and checking SAP data for global reporting purposes, contract evaluation data input, backlog report generation, and MIP assessments.
This position will also support process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing sales and margins forecasting and developing analysis and reporting capabilities.
Knowledge and skills we re looking for:
- Financial/Accounting experience with reporting and analytical skills.
- At least 3 years in a Finance support role.
- Communication skills to build and develop relationships with management and people with non-financial backgrounds.
- Experience working in other Finance support roles with exposure to management.
- Ability to work independently once direction provided.
- Strong Excel skills, and experience in Access and SAP would be ideal.
