The Financial Reporting Accountant will be primarily responsible for preparing financial statements and management reports for a leading technology company. The role is based in Bristol and involves the application of strong technical accounting knowledge.

Description

The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for;

• Preparing and presenting financial statements in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
• Providing accurate and timely management reports for informed decision-making.
• Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
• Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and monitoring internal controls.
• Participating in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
• Liaising with stakeholders to address financial queries and provide advice.
• Analysing financial performance and forecasting future trends.
• Continually updating knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Profile

A successful Financial Reporting Accountant should have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A detail-oriented approach with high levels of accuracy.
