Financial Reporting Manager

Axon Moore are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful business near Wigan to recruit an ambitious Financial Reporting Manager.
This is an opportunity not to be missed, which will allow the successful candidate to gain sought after and unique experience, within an extensive role under the mentorship of a high-calibre Head of Finance.
The role will suit an individual who is looking for a first time move into industry, who is pro-active, enthusiastic and able to manage and prioritise workloads.
Responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of the consolidation of group accounts
• Cashflow forecasting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Full ownership of the annual audit and annual accounts
• Management of the transactional team members, with ongoing mentorship and development
• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations
• Ongoing improvements and project work to create efficiencies such as: implementing paperless billing solutions, invoice scanning processes and more
• Fixed asset reconciliations
• VAT and corporation tax
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders and external advisors
• Ad hoc project work including acquisition integration
