We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Firmware / Embedded Systems Engineer within our growing Engineering Team.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
The development of Electronics, Firmware, App and Cloud technologies and offers an exciting opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the design process across multiple disciplines. As part of the team, you will be working directly alongside Senior Electronics, Firmware and App Engineers.
What you are already great at:
- Development of firmware for new products, from conception to production
- Support of existing product firmware
- Advising on electronics integration
- Creating supporting documentation
- Presenting concepts to the wider team
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
- Proven track record in Firmware development (at least 5 Years experience)
- Suitable qualification to degree level (2:1 or above) from a recognised University or equivalent experience.
- Excellent knowledge of C / C++ programming language and programming techniques
- Good knowledge of real time operating systems (Free RTOS) on embedded platforms
- Experience of writing code for Espressif ESP32
- I2C and Serial Communications
- MQTT Communications
- IoT Systems
- WiFi (Connection, Setting Up Access Points, exchanging data, DHCP)
- Bluetooth (BLE)
- LCD and OLED Display integration
- Stepper Motors
- STM32
- Understanding of electronics
- Excellent problem solving skills
